This page sets out the published child safety standards for Zavi Shorts (Android package com.zavishorts.app). It describes how we work to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and how users and authorities can contact us.
These standards apply to our mobile app, website (https://zavishorts.thecodesplitter.com), and related services (the "Service").
1. Our commitment
Zavi Shorts has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We prohibit any content, conduct, or activity that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or harms minors, including:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors
- Sharing of sexual content involving anyone under 18
- Attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes
- Any other CSAE-related activity under applicable law
Accounts and content that violate these standards are subject to removal, permanent ban, and reporting to relevant authorities where required.
2. Age and access
Zavi Shorts is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements of their region and our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly allow accounts that are used to create, upload, or distribute CSAE content. Where we become aware that an account is involved in such activity, we take action promptly.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
Users must not upload, share, request, or facilitate:
- Any sexual content involving minors (real or depicted)
- Links or instructions that lead to CSAE content elsewhere
- Harassment or exploitation targeting children
- Circumvention of age, moderation, or reporting systems
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, preservation of evidence for law enforcement, and reports to national or regional authorities (for example NCMEC where applicable).
4. Prevention and detection
We use a combination of measures to reduce CSAE risk, including:
- Clear community rules in our Terms of Service and this standards page
- User reporting of posts, profiles, and safety concerns in-app
- Human review of reports by our trust & safety / support team
- Account enforcement tools (hide content, deactivate, ban, or delete accounts)
- Cooperation with lawful requests from child protection and law enforcement agencies
We continually improve these processes as our product and legal obligations evolve.
5. In-app reporting
Users can report child safety concerns from within Zavi Shorts. Typical paths include using the report / more options on a post or profile, or contacting support directly. When you report:
- Provide the username, post link, or screenshots if available
- Describe why the content or behavior is concerning
- Do not download or redistribute suspected CSAM; report it to us instead
We prioritize child safety reports and review them as quickly as practicable.
6. Response and enforcement
When a child safety report or detection is confirmed, we may:
- Remove the content and restrict distribution
- Suspend or permanently ban the responsible account(s)
- Preserve relevant records as required by law
- Report to appropriate regional or national authorities and child protection organizations
- Notify the reporting user of material status updates when appropriate
7. Law enforcement and authority reporting
Zavi Shorts complies with applicable child safety laws. Where legally required or otherwise appropriate, we report CSAE / CSAM to relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations. Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM prevention practices is listed below.
